PJSC «Ukrsteel Dnipro Steel Structure Plant» is a modern full-cycle production plant, the legal successor of the historical Dnipropetrovsk Babushkin Steel Structure Plant. We successfully combine over 135 years of production traditions and engineering experience with the latest deep metal processing technologies on state-of-the-art computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
What We Manufacture: Main Production Areas
The plant specializes in the manufacture of a wide range of steel structures both according to standard designs and individual customer drawings:
- Construction metal structures: frames of industrial buildings and workshops, warehouse complexes, hangars, logistics centers, shopping and entertainment complexes (in accordance with national and international DSTU and ISO standards).
- Industrial and technological structures: high-rise trestles, masts, supports for various purposes, receiving and loading bunkers, galleries.
- Large-sized welded assemblies and structures: manufacturing of massive elements weighing up to 50 tons for heavy metallurgy, mechanical engineering, energy, and mining and processing plants.
- Serial parts and elements according to drawings: from single experimental samples to mass batches for infrastructure projects.
Full-Cycle "Turnkey" Production
The main advantage of our enterprise is the presence of a closed production chain at a single site. This eliminates the risks of delays due to transporting parts between different contractors and guarantees full responsibility for the final result:
- Design Department (3D Design): Development and adaptation of drawings. Direct import and processing of specifications in modern design formats DWG, DXF, STEP, DSTV.
- High-precision processing of rolled metal:
- Welding and assembly works: Execution of welds by highly qualified professional welders under strict non-destructive testing (UT, MT).
- Shot blasting cleaning: Thorough preparation of the metal surface to Sa 2½ – Sa 3 degree in a shot blasting chamber.
- Anti-corrosion painting: Application of industrial paint systems in a painting and drying booth (26 × 6 × 5.3 m) with a coating service life of up to 25 years.
- As-built documentation: Provision of a full package of certificates, test reports, and quality passports for finished products.
